Kenneth Lathane
Ken started his career with Haymarket Publishing in 1971 where in just over a year he was promoted to Classified Manager on Campaign. After six months in this role, he was asked to help with the launch of Computing as Recruitment Manager. This was successful and after a few years he decided to pursue a career in recruitment for media and its related industries. Ken is arguably the most experienced recruitment consultant in this field and has built up a reputation for possessing a hugely in-depth knowledge of this industry. Ken specializes in placing senior candidates at Publisher and Director level.

Tom Toher
Tom started in the media industry in 1976 Tom's two decades of experience include 13 years in advertising sales and 7 years in direct marketing, during which he ran his own consultancy. Tom specializes in placement of Senior Media Sales vacancies and handles all our Direct Marketing vacancies.

Robert Lettman
With roots firmly established in display and classified sales, Bob's management career flourished in one of the UK's top regional publishers before moving into training with CLT in 1995. Bob's experience combines with an energetic and enthusiastic approach to make him a highly successful and sought after trainer throughout the UK & Europe.

Patrick Gerrish
Patrick has worked in the media sales industry since 1990. During his fifteen years in this industry he has worked for large publishing companies such as Reed, Trinity Mirror and Emap on publications such as Motor Cycle News. He has also worked for several smaller B2B publishers on a range of magazines, exhibitions and conferences. His consultative approach has worked well when selling to large blue-chip companies and major advertising agencies. Patrick has embraced all the ideals that CLA stands for and has a particularly transparent method of working. He specializes in the placement of second jobbers and experienced sales executives in media and all the vacancies within Exhibitions and Conferences.

Alan Hay
Alan Hay is a History graduate of Stirling University and started his career at Haymarket Publishing in 1986 on Campaign. From there he moved to Emap to work on the launch of Money Week. He spent some years as group ad manager at Quantum Publishing before becoming a partner in a contract sales house. He has been in media recruitment since 1996 and joined Carreras Lathane in January 2009. He is specialising in digital media and consumer interest magazine vacancies. We are pleased that Alan shares our views on total professionalism, complete transparency to both clients and candidates and his enthusiasm for the industry is as high as it ever was.
